Yes they are heavier but stand up to more abuse in case of an accidental mishap. My prices are very reasonable and I don't charge if it can't be fixed. Here is a listing of the refurbished laptops I have up for sale. All of them totally refurbished by me ( I have 32 years experience in the computer field ). All are completely disassembled, cleaned internally and externally. Especially important is the inner heat sink surface between the fan and heatsink. The leading cause of laptop failures is overheating and the leading cause of the overheating problem is the area I described above. Most of the laptops I do are upgraded to at least a 2GHz dual core processor and 4GB of ram. Fresh install of Windows 11 64 bit. All updates are installed including BIOS, tweaked, and optimized. All of them also have Virus protection, Chrome, Driver Booster, Advanced SystemCare, VLC Media Player if computer has a DVD player. IOBit uninstaller. Also most get new batteries and/or chargers if needed . All are set up and ready to go.
