Pathogenic variants in 𝘊𝘋𝘒𝘕2𝘈 have been estimated to account for 35-40% of all familial melanomas. Other genes associated with increased melanoma risk include 𝘉𝘈𝘗1, 𝘗𝘖𝘛1, and 𝘊𝘋𝘒4.
