Innovation Tech Welcome to Innovation Tech High School Interacting and working with others in a group will give us advantages in the outside business world.

Four pillars
-Project based learning
A way to learn traditional subjects in a non-traditional way. Much collaboration and teamwork is used in Project Based Learning. PBL is a creative and interesting way to learn and teach.

-Business Partnerships
Innovation Tech is all about business partnerships and how we use the outside community with our projects. Many of our

successful projects have an outside partnership. Each year we involve ourselves with many business partnerships that gives us a great learning opportunity and real life experience.

-Advisory
Each student class has a group of facilitators as an advisor. Advisory is an opportunity to catch up on innovation tech plans and events.

-Community Service
Here at Innovation Tech community service is a way we give back. Each student must have 100 hours to graduate. Students must have community service hours, and each student does get the opportunity to get Community Service hours.

Thank you to Student Government, Prom Committee, and their advisor, Ms. Buckley, for organizing this event. Thank you to all staff and students who helped make this night possible.

Last week, Forensic Science welcomed five Syracuse University Graduate Students for an informational panel. The class looked at real fluids found at crime scenes under microscopes and used black lights to detect dried fluids.

Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the NYS Fairgrounds! Maker Faire is a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly event that celebrates creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning. Today, our entire school met up with our friends from Seven Valleys New Tech Academy at the J.M. McDonald Sports Complex for our annual
combined field trip!

Students and staff from both schools spent the day ice skating, playing different games, and running races on the turf.

Law & Justice teamed up with English 12 in a project exploring the Constitution and censorship.

They launched it with a trip to the Jamesville DeWitt Library, a visit from an author, and a Zoom call with librarian, Suzette Baker, from the documentary, “The Librarians,” in which she led a legal challenge against Texas’s call for an extensive book ban in the “Baker vs Llano County” case.

The project culminated with the seniors organizing a Bill of Rights vs book banning for the other grades.
