New in the listening room: a pair of Sound Lab G7-5C electrostatic panels, now set up here in Takoma Park, MD, ready to audition with the Century Monoblocks and the rest of the LTA line.
This is a continuation of a longer story. Our new blog post, "Getting Out of the Way: LTA and the Panel Speaker," looks back at three shows this year, each with a different speaker partner: PureAudioProject at Montreal Audiofest, Sound Lab Electrostats at AXPONA, and Prodigio Audio at Southwest Audio Fest. The commonality isn't necessarily the driver technology; it's the abandonment of the conventional box as the primary acoustic architecture.
