Everybody loved the notebooks, but the notebooks were never really the point.

I made them because I’ve been thinking differently about what it means to be visible in business. It’s easy to say you want to be in better rooms, meet the right people, and create more opportunities, but being in the room doesn’t automatically mean people will remember you once you leave it.

I wanted to create something intentional that could extend the conversation beyond that moment and give people another reason to connect my name with what I’m building.

Because I’m realizing that visibility isn’t just about showing up. It’s about being intentional about how you show up, what you’re known for, and what people take away from their experience with you.

You can’t keep waiting for the right opportunities to find you while doing nothing to make yourself memorable when they do.

Being seen is one thing. Being remembered for something that matters is another.

And this season, I’m learning to be a lot more intentional about both. 💙

You can have the website, the logo, the brand colors, and a business that looks completely put together…and still feel like no one knows you exist.

That was one of the biggest lessons I had to learn after spending years creating websites.

A polished brand can help people trust you once they find you, but it cannot be responsible for helping them find you in the first place.

That is where awareness comes in.

It is the Reel that introduces someone to your perspective, the Google search that leads them to your business, the client who recommends you, the email they keep opening, or the person who shares your work with someone else.

The goal is to create more clear paths that lead the right people back to your business and make it easy for them to understand why they should stay.

So as you think about growing your business, do not only ask how it looks. Ask:

✨How are people discovering me?
✨What do they immediately understand about my business?
✨And am I giving them a clear reason to take the next step?

Before they can book, buy, or refer you, they first have to know you exist.

Follow along as we break down the awareness stage of the customer journey and how to make your business easier to discover, understand, and remember.

Setting up Wix Bookings can get overwhelming fast, so I’m breaking the entire process down step by step.

In the first video of my Wix Bookings series, I’m walking through the settings you need to set up before adding your services, including your hours, staff, booking flow, forms, policies, notifications and integrations.

Lowering your price is not always the solution.

I know when bookings get slow, the first thought may be, “Maybe I need to run a sale” or “Maybe my prices are too high.”

But before you start changing your prices, take a step back and make sure pricing is actually the problem.

It could be that the right people aren’t seeing your offer, the value isn’t clear or the booking experience is making it harder for people to move forward.

In my latest video, we’re talking about what to look at before lowering your prices and why you don’t have to keep explaining yourself to people who were never planning to buy anyway.

Grab your tea and watch here:

When bookings slow down or you're starting a new business, lowering...

✋🏾STOP asking clients for reviews like it’s a random favor after the service is over.

So many times as a consumer I’m either not asked at all or asked down the line when I’ve forgotten all about the service.

If you’re a service provider handling clients or projects, your reviews should be built into your client experience.

Reviews are not just about having nice words on your website or Google Business Profile. They help future clients understand what it actually feels like to work with you.

They show that your process is organized, your communication is clear, your service is valuable, and your clients feel supported from start to finish.

But if you only ask for reviews at the end, you’re probably missing the best moments.

The moment the service feels easier than they expected. The moment they see the result or say “This is exactly what I needed.”

That’s why reviews should be part of your process, not an afterthought.

Set the expectation during
- onboarding
- throughout the service
- client is already expressing the win
- offboarding email or follow-up process.

As a service owner, your client experience is part of your marketing && when you create a process that makes clients feel guided, supported, and confident, your reviews become more than social proof.

How are you going to start implementing reviews in your process?
