⚠️♻️⚠️ It’s TOXIC ROUND-UP event season! Check out the newly-designed truck wrap rolling out to nine counties throughout north-central Florida! In 2025, 121 TONS of hazardous waste was collected and neutralized from these events! We are so proud of the work we get to do to help protect our environment and keep hazardous waste out of our landfills. Items accepted include: paints, paint thinner, fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, used oil/lubricants, gasoline/fuels, fluorescent lamps, electronics, TVs, computers, microwaves, corrosives, propane tanks, medications, aerosol cans, solvents, batteries, household cleaners, batteries, roofing tar, flares and ammunition, used cooking oil and MORE! Once collected, these hazardous items are shipped to treatment and processing centers across the country to be used as waste energy to fuel factories, smelted down for parts, extruded to make new plastics from old, and/or incinerated where most appropriate. ⚠️♻️⚠️
