The Las Vegas Sphere is home to one of the most advanced sound systems ever built featuring approximately 167,000 individually amplified drivers!

The massive system was developed using HOLOPLOT X1 Matrix Array technology, with roughly 1,600 permanently installed X1 modules positioned throughout the venue, many completely hidden behind the giant LED screen.

But what makes this system really incredible isn't just the number of speakers.

🔊 3D Audio-Beamforming allows sound to be precisely aimed and shaped throughout the venue.

🎯 Sound can be directed to specific areas of the audience while minimizing sound where it isn't wanted.

🌎 Wave Field Synthesis helps create incredibly realistic spatial audio, making sounds appear to originate from specific locations within the experience.

📏 The main speaker array alone is approximately 110 feet wide and 22 feet tall, containing 464 X1 modules.

👂 The goal? Give nearly 20,000 people a remarkably consistent listening experience whether they're sitting near the stage or more than 360 feet away.
