The legal profession isn't slow to change. Instead I see this profession being careful, which is comforting.

Robert and I had the honor of speaking to the San Diego Chapter, Administrators Legal Administrators (SDALA) this week about one of the hardest topics in any firm: how to actually implement AI in their firms. The change is big!

Change in a law firm rarely fails because attorneys resist it. It fails because it wasn't designed for how the firm actually operates day to day.

The safest path forward is small, visible wins. One workflow. One team. One clear outcome. Then the next.

Our work with law firms lives on the business side of the practice. Growth. Client care. Cash flow. Operational efficiency. The systems and habits that let attorneys focus on their clients instead of chasing timekeeping, intake, follow-ups, and reporting.

If your firm is thinking about where to start, start small, start visible, and start with the workflow that's costing the most time right now.

If You Build It, You Own It.

Vivian presented "How to Ethically Utilize AI in Your Firm" to the Southwest Riverside County Bar Association this morning.

Legal is a big vertical for us at Vivians, and we were glad to help shed light on an important topic. Confidentiality, ethical duties, and building internal AI policy that actually fits how a firm practices. Great questions from the room and met some sharp people afterward.

Last night, I got to serve as a judge for the IEWBC Finish Line Finance Fast Pitch Graduation. I left inspired by the ladies who pitched. These entrepreneurs developed business plans, their financial skills, and pitched to a live audience, some of them for the first time. Three of them walked away with grant funding to invest in their businesses.

Three and a half years ago, we started Vivians with one guiding idea: take care of your community, and the rest will follow.

Saturday Night, at the Temecula Valley Chamber 60th Awards Gala, we were honored to receive the Bronze Business of the Year award, recognized for giving back to the community we love calling home, while creating real value for our clients.

This work has never been just about us, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to serve the SBDC workshops, the TVE2 Incubator and the entrepreneurs grinding it out in our shared office, the Temecula Valley Chamber, and the nonprofits across this valley doing work that matters every single day. Getting to show up for this community is our pleasure.

To the City of Temecula and TVE2: thank you for building a place where small businesses can actually thrive.

To every client who took a chance on us over these last three and a half years, you are the reason we're here. You believed in us before there was an award on the wall, and we appreciate that more than you will ever know.
