Press release from eBash Video Game Centers:
Hey everyone, a couple of updates for you:
We just wrapped up the 9th annual Achievement Fest. We skipped a couple of years for the pandemic but next year will be the 10th event. Just short of 50 players from 20 states and even a few down from Canada this year which is great after two years away, but our goal is 100 attendees next year for the 10th event!
We are looking at reopening the temporary eBash location to the public again in the next week or two, stay tuned for more details. But meanwhile we are continuing renovations a couple of doors down on the permanent eBash location and we have a fun announcement to make related to that new space:

EBASH VIDEO GAME CENTER PURCHASES GAM3 BOARD AND CARD GAME STORE TO EXPAND ENTERTAINMENT OFFERINGS
eBash Video Game Center today announced that it has agreed to purchase all assets of local board and card game store GAM3. TILT LLC, the parent company of eBash, also opened Bank of Pinball earlier this year in the Haute City Center mall and has temporarily located eBash Video Game Center in another space in the mall while renovations are taking place in a permanent mall location.
“My family has always played board and card games as I was growing up and my wife Janean and I continue that tradition with our own children,” says co-founder Zack Johnson. “My dad even had a small shop here in town on 7th street about 20 years ago called Family Fun and Games, so it is exciting for us to continue that legacy of board and card games for friends and families into the future with the purchase of GAM3.”
The owners of GAM3, Norma and Cary Laxer, are sad to see their location close down but happy to know the staff and customers will be able to continue their love of miniatures, board and card games with eBash. CEO Norma Laxer said, “We have enjoyed our time here in the Wabash Valley and loved our staff and customers at GAM3. But with Cary retiring from Rose-Hulman we are ready for our next adventure moving to warmer climates in the southwest and will rest assured that everything will be in good hands with Zack and his team.”
Johnson and his long-time business partner Shawn Wells are also in the process of adding new partners and investors into TILT. Two additional spaces will open in the Haute City Center mall with other entertainment and food and beverage options that will be announced in the coming months.
