What happens before the walls go up shapes how you’ll live long after they do.
This Northern Virginia condo is still at the open-wall stage, but much of what will define the finished experience is already taking shape.
This is when some of the most important decisions are made. Where should music come from? How should the lighting feel? What should be visible, and what should completely disappear? What might the homeowner want the home to do five or ten years from now?
Being involved early allows our team to work alongside the homeowner, builder, architect, designer, electrician and other trades to coordinate technology with the architecture from the start, rather than trying to fit it in later.
Here, we’re laying the groundwork for intelligent lighting and fixtures, motorized shades, integrated tape lighting, whole-home control and automation, multiple forms of audio and video, invisible speakers throughout, and a high-performance network connecting it all.
Much of it will eventually disappear behind the walls. And that’s exactly the point.
