PS5 vertical or horizontal? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS? 🎮

It’s one of the questions we hear all the time, and the truth is, the PS5 is designed to work in either position when it’s set up correctly.

Standing it vertically can save space and give your setup a cleaner look, but it may be easier to bump or tip depending on where you keep it.

Laying it horizontally takes up more room, but it can feel more stable and may fit better in certain entertainment setups.

Whichever way you position it, make sure your PS5 has plenty of airflow and isn’t packed into a tight space.

We personally prefer keeping it flat whenever possible, but we want to hear from you.

So what actually happens inside your PS5 after it keeps overheating? 👀

This is where things can get expensive.

Too much heat can cause the liquid metal barrier around the processor to break down. Once that happens, the liquid metal can shift, create uneven cooling, and leave parts of the main board dealing with dangerous hot spots.
