Yesterday was a great day at Brightview Senior Living in Cockeysville helping residents one-on-one with their technology questions.

We worked through email questions, iPhone and iPad help, printer issues, slow computers, video calling setup, and more. Every session was at each resident's own pace with no rushing and no jargon.

A big thank you to the Brightview Hunt Valley Vibrant Living team for putting everything together so smoothly. The scheduling, hospitality, and the custom elevator flyer were all excellent.

🛑 SCAM ALERT: Watch for fake Paperless Post invitations! 🛑

Have you received a Paperless Post party invite in your email or text messages recently? Please read this before you click!

We've been getting a LOT of questions at Amishey Tech Services LLC from clients receiving these. Scammers are sending out fake party invites and e-cards that look incredibly real. Their goal? To steal your email passwords, send you to a bad website, or download a virus onto your computer! 🦠

Here is how to easily spot the scam (with simple tips straight from Paperless Post!):

❌ The Login Trap: You click the invite and are asked to "Sign in" with your Office 365, Google, AOL, or Yahoo account. Real Paperless Post invites will NEVER ask you to log in to view a card! Do NOT type in your password!

❌ Look at the Sender: Real invites will NEVER come from a personal email account ending in .com, .com, or .com. They will only ever come from an official email ending in .com.

❌ Dangerous Downloads: Real invites will never make you download a file or attachment to see the details.

❌ Check the Link: Hover your mouse over the link before clicking. Real web links will always start with paperlesspost.com, https://www.google.com/search?q=links.paperlesspost.com, or pp.events.

🤔 When in doubt, reach out! Not sure if the invite is real? Play it safe! Call, text, or email the person directly and ask them, "Hey, did you actually send me a Paperless Post invite?"

We just wrapped up an incredible custom A/V and network build for a beautiful Carriage House right here in Parkton, MD. This project was all about blending high-end tech with the room's unique rustic aesthetic without taking away from its charm.
