Testing for peak performance 📈
 
In these photos, Mike Mees is recording PIM tests for jumpers and mainlines, going up to and including either a load or connection to the antennas. 
 
For those who may not know how this works, by connecting the PIM test gear (via phase stable cable) to the coax with a termination load on the opposite end, Mike can verify the performance of the coax (PIM load test). By swapping out the load for the coax's connection to the antenna port, he records a PIM system test, determining the antenna port's performance for a given frequency range. When also using a PIM blanket, we can verify whether any interference is from an external source, e.g. for troubleshooting.
