A quick win most small business owners miss: your Google Business Profile often gets seen more than your actual website. Fill it out completely. Add photos. Post updates, post regularly. Answer reviews. It's free, and it quietly decides whether people find you or your competitor.

Half the time when someone tells us they need a new website, the real issue is something else. A broken booking flow. An unclear offer. A decision that hasn't been made yet. Part of what you're paying us for is the honesty to say when the fix isn't a website at all. That conversation usually saves you money.

A contact form that just says Name, Email, Message leaves money on the table. Ask one smart qualifying question and you'll know who's serious before you ever reply. Small change, better leads.

Before you hire anyone to build your website, ask one question: when this is done, who holds the keys? Your domain, your email, your admin accounts, your brand files, your source code. All of it should be in your name and your hands, not held hostage by the person who built the site. At Savvy Tech Advice, you hold the keys. Stay with us as long as you want, leave whenever you choose.

We got into this work because we kept seeing small business owners handed something they couldn't control, couldn't edit, and couldn't leave. That's backwards. Your website should be yours, top to bottom. Your accounts, your files, your code, all in your name. Our job is to build it right and hand you the keys.

You don't need us to poke around your site to tell you it's not working. You already know. Slow, outdated, a pain to update, not bringing in calls. If that's the situation, skip the runaround and just tell us what you want your website to actually do. We start there.

The best parts of a website are the ones you never see. Heading tags structured so Google actually understands your page. Alt text on every image so a screen reader can describe it to someone who can't see the screen. Accessibility isn't a nice extra. It's whether everyone who lands on your site can actually use it. Most builders skip this. We build it in from the start.

Working on a build today and thinking about how much of good web work is invisible. The clean structure. The forms that never break. The stuff you never notice because it just works. That's the goal: a site that quietly does its job so you can do yours.
