The community is doing incredible work. Flipper Zero firmware is now running on FREE-WILi 2 and SubGhz and NFC are already working.

What started as an open hardware project is becoming a platform. RFID, IR, Bluetooth, and LoRa are next.

We just released fw2-orca-templates: a complete starter kit for building ORCA module boards in KiCad.
The repo includes everything you need to get moving:

✓ KiCad 7 project template with schematics
✓ 3D .step models for mechanical planning
✓ Custom EEPROM.pretty footprint library
✓ Header reference (CN1/CN2) for module integration

freewili-finder v0.6.0 is out now with better FREE-WILi 2 support. We fixed detection against production hardware and resolved macOS detection issues. Package hitting PyPI soon. Check it out:

FREE-WILi 2 firmware binaries is now up on GitHub: https://github.com/freewili/FREE-WILi2-Firmware.

If you hit a bug or something behaves unexpectedly, please open an issue there so we can track it and get it fixed.

A firmware release addressing several of the reports we've already gotten is coming soon.
