TMR module installs now available!!!
So a lot of you have been asking about hall effect aka HE installs on controllers etc. I didnt offer HE installs and this will kind of explain why….
Most of you know me as the guy who’s going to make sure that I don’t install/sell you some bull crap. All my parts and methods of repair offered are vetted prior to offering. If I’m not sure about a part or the process of the repair, I’m not gonna offer it period. That would be a money grab and a disservice to the client. I usually wait until new parts or new tech type of stuff is tested, some time has passed and word from my fellow techs is that the parts and end result is solid. So HE (Hall Effect) sensors came out years back and I was hesitant to offer. My suspicion was correct. It was new tech and in the testing type of phase. The HE sensors often times were defective out of the box or fell out of calibration meaning didnt work or not for long kind of deal sometimes. Hit or miss on those basically. So the manufacturers realizing this made TMR sensors for the controllers. There are some crappy TMR and some ok ones as well which would be suitable for offering, but I only plan on offering the best. I installed them to my personal controller almost a year ago, and I can say I am happy with the result. Gulikit brand TMR are hands down the best on the market and we’re happy to now offer them as an upgrade to standard original parts repair. “So what’s the difference?”…
Your factory controller sensors utilize a metal spring loaded wiper and carbon film pick up/position sensor so in essence it senses the position of your stick like a needle on a record, mechanical in some aspect. just like a needle on a record that spring loaded wiper and carbon film sensor is going to wear out. Thats when your controller starts to drift. It may take months it may take years, it may drift right out the box, I’ve seen that btw lol. It’s all the luck of the draw. The advantage that these TMR have is that they use a magnetic noncontact pick up sensor that will not wear like the spring loaded carbon film sensor. The other advantage they have is that they are built more mechanically sound. They use thicker plastic bands, for example. So while all controllers are considered a wear and tear item, i.e. they’re not gonna last forever just like that car you drive is not gonna last forever lol these will will far out last and be more precise than the original or other aftermarket parts. Precise 🎯 and tanky 💪🏼 is basically what these are.

Our standard PS5 controller repair is $35* and we use ALPS original parts just like the manufacturer. We offer a good solid repair and we rarely see any back for warranty or future repairs needed. Repairs include a six month warranty. So our standard repair is still awesome, a good value and is definitely a better option than buying a new controller at 70 or 80 bucks all the time. Also with our guarantee at least you know and will have peace of mind, knowing you’re not gonna be buying another controller in the near future and if even that controller fails after the six months as a courtest we’ll definitely extend you a discount as well on your future repairs on that particular controller so we definitely got your back and it’s definitely worth it to do the standard repair.
