Almanak Creative Almanak Creative is a production and creative consulting agency dedicated to supporting artists and arts organizations. Co-Founded by Alex Leiva & Adam Gurczak

As artists ourselves, we’ve set out to provide the resources that we’ve always wanted to see: accessible, affordable, and inspired media production, along with tools and training to help individuals and organizations thrive. Through tailored creative services spanning multimedia production, photography, branding, and design, we work towards a simple goal: to see more art put out into the world.

After many days of hard work (that red paint took SO many coats...) I'm so pleased with how it all turned out. Hoping that this art can bring some creative inspiration to all who walk through Passim's School of Music for many years to come.

Painting a mural for 's new office space/school of music!

This was such an exciting project for me - Passim was one of the first places I visited (and eventually worked at) when moving to Massachusetts. It's where I met so many of the most incredible musicians, forming lifelong friendships and an unending catalogue of great music to listen to.

Getting to leave my mark through this mural was a huge honor, and I can't wait to share the full reveal in part 2 :)

Thrilled to be supporting this beautiful cause, a concert and reception supporting the incredible work for the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter.

All proceeds go towards the shelter to provide crucial services for those unhoused. Come join us as we film the event, to be held TOMORROW at the First Church in Cambridge.

Creating this psychedelic poster for Out to Lunch's upcoming show was so much fun. The piece was created with handdrawn illustrations inspired by Pink Floyd and other iconic band designs from the 70s and 80s, paired with OtL's signature imagery of a brain.

Jessye DeSilva described her music as 'ethereal alt-Americana witch pop' and, damn, if that isn't an amazing brief to go off of. I loved working on the art for her two latest singles, the second of which released TODAY.

We've been collaborating with Jessye for the past three months, and oh boy do we have a lot more magic to share. Follow Jessye to see a whole bunch more as her new album, Glitter Up the Dark, drops on April 3!

We've been working with Silkroad for over a year now, where we've witnessed seedling ideas bloom into large-scale touring projects centered around shared community and collaborative music-making -- ideals we value and echo in our own work.

It's been an honor to support them with their latest program, Sanctuary: The Power of Resonance and Ritual, led by Artistic Director Rhiannon Giddens, which launches its debut tour tonight!

Whether capturing photos, interviewing artists, or a developing social media campaign, we support our clients by helping to bring their work into the world -- thoughtfully, collaboratively, and always with care for the communities it serves.

We had such a great time working with our friends at Roxbury Capoeira (). Getting to chat with Instrutor Bambu and observe one of their sessions showed us just how special these types of programs are. The class was welcoming, energetic, inclusive, and fun, centering a sense of community above all else - a quality we always look for in our clients and partners.

It’s our birthday!! 🎂

Exactly one year ago, Almanak Creative was born as an official LLC, marking the start of a wild journey in which we left our full-time jobs to pursue our passions. It’s been an exciting and eventful year full of a variety of projects including recording albums, designing brands, filming music videos, leading strategic plans, photographing portraits, making posters, building websites, and more. 

We set out to create Almanak without knowing what would happen. It was a big risk with zero certainties, but each day has brought new adventures and opportunities to collaborate with talented, creative people. 

Thank you to all the wonderful people who have supported our work, trusted our vision, and given us the space to create together. It’s a special kind of joy getting to do what we do.

Inspiration for designs can come from even the smallest moments.

In undergrad, I studied bass at the University of Arizona, where I spent countless hours cozied up in the bass storage room. It had become a sort of second home for the bass studio, where we would practice, hang out, and escape to when we had a break between classes. And I remember sitting atop a shelf in the corner of the room was a print of Henry Matisse's 'Blue N**e II'.

So when my former professor reached out asking me to make a poster for the Tucson Bass Jam, I knew I wanted to create something inspired by that, fusing it together with that southwestern design and charm I've come to love.
