Have you ever had to write off a balance due to timely filing? How do you know if you have thousands of dollars of procedures sitting there waiting to be paid? Can this be prevented?

The answer is YES! There are several reports that help us stay on top of it all. But sometimes it isn't the reports that we struggle with. Sometimes we don't have a process we use regularly to ensure claims are not missed. Or maybe we don't know what to do with the reports once we print them.

When I ask these questions to my clients, they often tell me one of two answers. I didn't know Dentrix can do that or I am on top of all of my claims.

A lot of times we are aware but are we actually doing everything we can do to prevent it? With some of my clients, I have found anywhere from $0-$30,000 of procedures waiting to be sent to the insurance. This doesn't have to be you!

For 2021, I encourage all my clients to review Dentrix Reports to evaluate their practice to determine opportunities for growth!

My two favorite reports are the Practice Advisor Report and the Practice Analysis by Procedure Code.

Reviewing the Practice Analysis by Procedure Code for the entire year will shine a light on codes you might be underutilizing. The Practice Advisor Report is the most comprehensive report you can use to analyze every aspect of your practice reviewing all key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be able to evaluate goals, production, collection, new patient stats, schedule optimization, continuing care, referrals, and so much more!

2020 has brought a shift in how we normally doing things. One change is how normal it is to meet or teach virtually. Even though we have been training Dentrix virtually for years, it is now a standard for training preferred by many of you!

Virtual training has its benefits over in person training. It is easy to work into your schedule, shorter training time, and can conveniently be done from almost anywhere!
