Offices are closed Monday. Our 24/7 HelpDesk isn't.

If something goes sideways over the long weekend, an actual Nomerel engineer answers - that's the entire reason businesses pay for managed IT instead of a guy who looks at it Tuesday.

Enjoy the weekend, Oklahoma. Tell us what's going on the grill.👇🍖

Your kids went back to school with a supply list. Most businesses went back to work with nothing.

Three things worth doing before Q4 starts - swipe for the detail:

– Review what actually matters this quarter, out loud, with your team
– Audit what you're paying for every month
– Fix the one thing everybody quietly works around

All three are cheaper in September than in December.

Which one have you been avoiding? Comments are open.

Pick one file. Restore it from last night's backup. Time how long it takes.

That's the whole tip, and most businesses have never done it. A green tick in the console proves the job ran. It doesn't prove the data is usable, or that anyone knows how to get it back.

September is National Preparedness Month, so all month we're posting the actual pieces of a real plan: the review, the incident sheet, the backup test. No theory, no metaphors.

Try the restore this week. If it doesn't work, that's a very good thing to find out on a quiet Tuesday.

Most businesses know downtime can happen. Few have mapped out exactly what recovery looks like in the first hour when it does.

When a backup fails, the problem does not stay contained. What starts as a system issue spreads fast, stalling productivity, delaying client responses, and creating pressure across the business.

The first hour after a backup failure is often the difference between a controlled recovery and a disruption that keeps growing.

See our infographic for a breakdown of what that first hour typically looks like. Comment "Recovery" and we will send you a copy.

The outage isn't the real problem. The recovery is.

Many Oklahoma businesses have invested in AI-powered monitoring tools that can detect issues in seconds.

But if a critical server fails, a backup becomes corrupted, or ransomware impacts your environment, how quickly could your business actually recover?

In our latest blog, we explore why business continuity planning, backup testing, and disaster recovery exercises are just as important as the technology monitoring your systems.

✅ Disaster Recovery Planning
✅ Backup Testing
✅ Business Continuity
✅ Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs)

Every business will face a disruption at some point. What determines whether that disruption becomes a disaster is how prepared you were before it happened.

The difference is not in preventing every problem. It is in recovering before the impact becomes unmanageable.

For Tulsa businesses where a spring storm, a ransomware attack, or a vendor outage can knock systems offline without warning, preparation is what separates a controlled response from a crisis.

Send us a message and we will help you map out your recovery scenarios before you need them.
