🛠️ Audit your reboot schedule — if your team is losing time to forced restarts during business hours, explore hotpatch-eligible Windows configurations with your IT provider
🛠️ Ask your team what they work around every day — the workarounds people have quietly accepted are often the biggest drains on productivity

Adding more tools to a misaligned foundation doesn't fix the problem. It just makes it more expensive.

🗂️ Archive files (ZIP, RAR, 7z) are rarely scanned as deeply as standard files — make sure your security tools inspect compressed attachments before they're opened
🗂️ Antivirus alone is not a security strategy — layered defenses including DNS filtering, endpoint detection, and email security work together to catch what any single tool misses
🗂️ Check when your antivirus definitions were last updated — stale definitions miss new attack variants like Zombie ZIP entirely
🗂️ Restrict which file types employees can receive via email — blocking executable archives at the gateway stops many attacks before they reach a device
