Small crack, big problem? 📱

A lot of folks keep using a phone with a cracked screen until it gets worse. Here are a few signs it is time to stop putting it off:

1. The touch stops responding in one corner, or it taps things on its own.
2. You see lines, dark spots, or flickering that was not there before.
3. The crack keeps spreading, or tiny glass bits start coming loose.

A damaged screen can also let dust and moisture in, which causes trouble underneath.

We come to you in Tulsa and most screen replacements are done on-site in 30 to 60 minutes. Message us to book a time.

PS5 shutting off mid-game? Before you blame dust, read this.

Nine times out of ten when a PS5 overheats, the problem is the liquid metal on the main chip. It oxidizes over time, and oxidized liquid metal cannot move heat. The fan gets loud, the frame rate dips, then the console kills the power to protect itself.

Dust is rarely the culprit. A dirty fan makes noise, but it does not usually cook a PS5.

The fix is opening the console, cleaning the oxidation off the chip, and reapplying fresh liquid metal. We do it at your place in Tulsa, most repairs done in 30 to 60 minutes on-site.

If yours is roaring like a hair dryer, message us and we will get you booked.

That HDMI port on your PS5 or Xbox takes more abuse than you think 🔌

Every time the cable gets yanked sideways, pushed in at an angle, or left dangling behind the TV, the little pins inside take the hit. Do that enough and you get no signal, a flickering picture, or a port that only works if you hold the cable just right.

A few easy ways to give it a longer life. Leave some slack in the cable so it is not pulling on the port. Plug it in straight, no forcing it. And if your console sits close to a wall, give the cable room to bend gently instead of kinking right at the plug.

Already getting a black screen or a wobbly connection? We come to you in Tulsa and HDMI swaps usually take 30-45 minutes on-site. Message us to book.

Phone battery barely making it to dinner? 🔋

A few things wear batteries out faster than they should. Heat is the big one. Leaving your phone on a hot dash or charging under a pillow cooks it slowly. Running it down to zero every day does not help either.

Two habits that actually help:
1. Keep it between roughly 20 and 80 percent when you can.
2. Use a regular charger overnight instead of a fast charger every single time.

If your phone still dies by lunch even with good habits, the battery itself is probably worn out. We can swap it on-site in Tulsa. Most repairs are done in 30-60 minutes. Message us to book.

Your controller starts walking on its own in the middle of a match 🎮

That is stick drift. Dust and wear get into the little sensor under the stick, and after a while it starts reading movement that is not there. Heavy use speeds it up, and so does mashing the stick to the edge in every game.

A couple habits help. Keep the controller somewhere dust free when you are not playing, and wipe around the sticks now and then with a dry cloth. If it drifts, try recalibrating in settings first. That fixes software glitches, but it will not fix a worn sensor.

When recalibration does not help, we can repair it on-site in Tulsa. Most repairs are done in 30-60 minutes. Message us to book.

That little crack in the corner of your phone screen? It rarely stays little. 📱

Every drop, every time it sits in a back pocket and flexes, every temperature swing from a hot car to AC, that crack creeps a little further. Then the touch starts acting up. Dead spots, phantom taps, a line that flickers when you scroll.

Put a protector on after a fresh screen, and it has a real job to do. On cracked glass, it just covers the problem for a while.

If yours is spreading, we can swap it on-site in Tulsa. Most repairs are done in 30-60 minutes, right at your place. Message us to book.

Your PS5 sounds like a jet engine? That is your console begging for air 🌬️

Dust builds up inside every console. It chokes the fan and traps heat. A hot PS5 slows down, shuts off mid-game, and wears out parts faster.

Three quick habits that help.

1. Give it room. Six inches on every side, and never in a closed cabinet.
2. Stand it upright if you can. The vents work better that way.
3. Dust the vents once a month with a soft brush or dry cloth. Never spray cleaner into them.

If it still roars or shuts down on you, the heat may have already done damage. We come to you in Tulsa and most repairs take 30 to 60 minutes on-site. Message us to book.

Your PS5 shows no signal, but the HDMI port looks fine from the outside. It is probably fine-looking on the inside too, just not touching anything. 🎮

Those ports are soldered straight to the board. Every yank, wiggle, and plug in at an angle flexes the pins. Move the console with the cable still in it and you bend the tongue inside the port. Do that a few times and the pins lose contact for good.

Plugging a cable in or out while the TV is on can fry one too. The surge runs right through the HDMI line.

HDMI ports do not wear out from being used. They wear out from being pushed around.

If your screen flickers, cuts out, or never shows up, that is the classic sign. We replace HDMI ports on-site in Tulsa, usually 30-45 minutes at your door. Message us to book.
