A Dollar General manager in Beaumont named Edith just saved a disabled Navy veteran $500 — and the story broke my heart and gave me hope at the same time. ❤️

This woman had already lost $15,000 to scammers who told her she'd won a prize. She was at the register trying to send another $500 when Edith noticed something was off. She slowed things down, called the police, and saved the rest.

One rule that never changes: no real prize, no real lottery, and no real government agency will EVER ask you to pay fees using gift cards. If someone says buy gift cards to claim something. It's a scam. Every time.

Here is what you can do if you get a suspicious call:

📞 Hang up. You do not owe anyone an explanation.
🔧 Write down the number that called you.
✅ Look up the IRS yourself by going to irs.gov in your browser.
🛡️ Call us at (210) 550-6884 if you want a second opinion before doing anything.

Your Windows computer already has a built-in security program called Windows Defender. You do not need to pay extra for it. (and we hight recomend it)

Here is one simple thing you can do today to confirm it is working for you:

🔧 Open your Start menu and search for Windows
✅ Click "Virus and threat protection"
💡 Check that your protection is listed as up to date

That is it. Your computer handles updates quietly in the background. You just need to make sure the setting is turned on.
