A career comes to an end and another adventure starts. East Texas Engraving Co. was established in 1937. Today marks my retirement from the engraving business of 52 years. That means I worked there for 52 of the 86 years in business. I started working for East Texas Engraving on March of 1971. I have seen many changes in the printing industry over the past 50 years.
Letterpress, foil stamping, leather stamping, plates for the rubber stamp industry and flexo (both rubber and photopolymer) are just some of the fields I worked with.
I bought the business in 2011 and operated as Jones Engraving till the end.
I would like to thank my wife Denys Jones for all the work she put in for over 10 years. She pulled me though an awful lot in those years.
Today we start enjoying things and life much more.
We are going to enjoy retirement thoroughly.

Hey everyone... Since the fire in October we have been getting things back in order here. We are back up and running. I would like to thank everyone for your help and support during this time. It was a blessing that we did not suffer a total loss. This business has been around too long to be lost.
I have worked in this building since 1971, so you must know how I feel about the business. Our customers are the absolute best. They all feel like family to me.
Denys and I here at JONES ENGRAVING would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and may 2019 be a great year for everyone... THANK YOU

As you may or may not have heard, Jones Engraving suffered a terrible fire on Thursday the 18th. We lost all of our finish room and part of shipping.
We are now starting the clean up phases and assessment.
With that being said Jones Engraving will be closed until further notice.
Please bear with us through this process as we will be back up as soon as we can.
Thank you for all your help and understanding help at this time.
