The last several months have been crazy with everything going on, but we have been busier than ever. Here is just a little bit of we have been up to over the last few months.

We have added coverage area around Newbern and will be announcing more soon. We have also been upgrading equipment in certain parts of the network for additional capacity and higher speeds.

As always, we are building custom networks for customers that want to extend their coverage or just add WiFi in their barn.

It has been a while since we have posted anything to this page, so I decided to give a background and catch everyone up.

BDA Wireless was built simply because there was no reliable options for internet in our area. We very quickly learned that other businesses and residents were facing the same issues, so we expanded with the demand. Unfortunately, the original founders decided they did not want to become an ISP at the scale the community was demanding. This was followed by meeting with a couple of different buyers, but I was not comfortable with the direction some of them may have wanted to take the company.

In December 2018 after careful consideration, I decided to personally purchase the network under the name Blackbelt Broadband, LLC and continue to operate the network that I designed and built along with Tanner Bender. Since the purchase, I have spent a lot of my time out of state designing and integrating very robust camera and WiFi systems in a variety of environments.

Over the last year, Gabe Holdeman of Add-It Enterprises has been the right hand man holding the fort down, adding customers and maintaining the infrastructure as needed. I am very thankful for Gabe's dedication and desire to maintain the high level of service that our customers are accustomed to.

We continued to use the BDA Wireless name as it is so deeply engrained into the infrastructure. We will slowly transition everything over to the new name beginning Q3 2020 though everything BDA Wireless will get you were you need to go.

We have spent the last year planning for the future and it is looking bright. We have some very exciting news ahead. Stay tuned for updates and announcements.

We don't only do internet. We are doing projects like this:
Surveillance Cameras on 2 different locations and WiFi in 3 different buildings on the property.

Glad we could assist the law enforcement with their internet needs at their mobile command center in Laneville. They were struggling using an AT&T hotspot and we hooked them up a 30Mbps connection.

Here is an example of how we'll go the extra mile. We set up a temporary service for a customer until a permanent solution is in place by the end of the week.

Thankfully, we were not affected by the fiber cut that has crippled Marion. Hopefully, they will get it repaired soon for all those affect.
