Quick one, because this genuinely matters more than most people realize right now.

Your future clients are starting to skip Google entirely. They ask ChatGPT, or Siri, or the AI answer at the top of the page, "who's the best [thing] near me," and they go with whoever gets named. If that's not you, you don't come in second. You just don't show up.

I'm Erin, founder of The Coastal Collaborative. I help service businesses become the name the AI actually recommends, instead of the great business nobody's tool can find.

I built a free AI Visibility Scan that checks whether the AI tools can find you, read your site, and recommend you right now, and shows you exactly what's holding you back. 2 minutes, zero pitch, genuinely useful even if we never talk again.

Grab yours at thecoastalcollab.com/get-found, or comment "SCAN" and I'll send you the link. 🤍

Serious question: when's the last time you scrolled to page 2 of Google? Yeah. Nobody does. And now it's going even further than that.

More and more, people don't even get a list anymore. They ask ChatGPT or the AI answer at the top of Google "who's the best [thing] near me," and they get one answer. One or two names, picked for them. Whoever the AI decides to name basically got handed the client.

So the obvious question is: how does the AI decide who to name? It's not magic, and it's not an ad you can buy your way into. It comes down to a few unglamorous things. Can it actually read your website, or is your info trapped in an image or a booking widget it can't see. Does your business name, address, and phone match everywhere it looks, or is it slightly different on 4 different sites. Do you have reviews, and are they recent (88% of people read reviews before they buy, and the AI is reading them too).

None of that is flashy. All of it is fixable. And almost nobody's doing it yet, which is exactly why right now is the moment to get ahead of it, before your competitors figure it out.

I made a free AI Visibility Scan that checks all of this for your business and shows you where you stand. Takes 2 minutes, zero pitch. Grab it at thecoastalcollab.com/get-found, or comment "SCAN" and I'll send you the link. 🤍

Quick question, and be honest: how many times today did you type the same piece of information into 2 different apps?

If the answer made you wince, welcome to the messy middle. It's where basically every growing service business gets stuck, and almost nobody has a name for it, so they just assume they're bad at being organized.

You're not. Here's what actually happened. You started simple. Then you added a scheduler. Then a CRM. Then an invoicing tool, an email platform, a project tracker. Every one of them fixed a real problem. Not one of them talks to the others.

So the thing holding it all together is you. You're the bridge. A client books, and you carry their name and details by hand from the scheduler to the CRM to the invoice to the email, because nothing passes it along on its own.

That's not a character flaw. That's a gap between your tools, and it's the quiet reason your day feels twice as full as it should.

The fix is not another app (please, not another app). It's wiring the ones you already pay for so the info gets entered once and every next step just happens. You stop being the bridge. The work crosses on its own.

The messy middle is honestly my favorite place to start, because you feel the wins fast. Take the free 5-Minute Ops Quiz and we'll find the first gap to close. Comment "MIDDLE" or drop a 🤍 and I'll send the link.

Your competitor didn't outrank you.

They got recommended.

Different game, different rules, and almost nobody has noticed the switch yet.

Which is honestly the good news. There's still a window here, and it's wide open.

I don't sell a report card I couldn't pass myself.

My site scores 99, 100, 100, 97 on the exact scan I'm about to run on yours. (Yes, I'm a little insufferable about it. No, I will not apologize.)

Here's the honest part though. It didn't start there. My first number was rough, same as everybody's. I just happened to know what to do about it.

That's the whole scan. It tells you what I'd know if I looked at your site. Free, 60 seconds, no call.

Somebody asked ChatGPT for a good bookkeeper near them this morning.

It gave them three names.

I'd bet money it didn't say yours, and I'd bet more that nobody told you.

That's the thing about this problem. Nothing breaks. No number drops. No report flags it. You just quietly stop being in the answer.

I built a free scan that tells you where you actually stand across AEO, GEO, and SEO, plus the three fastest fixes in each one. 60 seconds, no call, no card.

Link's in my bio. Go find out. (Fair warning, most people's first number is rough. Mine was too.)

Tired of the duct tape?

I'm Erin, founder of The Coastal Collaborative. I help service business owners stop drowning in busywork and start running on systems that actually work.

8+ years in operations. 200+ automations built. 200+ SOPs written. The point of all of it: you get your time back and your business stops living entirely in your head.

I'm opening a few free Operations Audit spots this month. No pitch, no pressure. Just 30 minutes and a clear map of where your hours are leaking and what to fix first.

Drop a heart or comment "TIME" and I'll send you the link.

"Soon your small business will be paying big bills. Don't worry. It's coming."

I love this, and I also want to add the unsexy part: it comes faster when the back end isn't held together with duct tape.

Growth has a way of exposing every weak system you've got. The CRM you've been ignoring, the process that only lives in your head, the follow-ups you keep forgetting. When the volume hits, those cracks become the thing standing between you and the big bills getting paid.

So while you're manifesting the growth, let's also build the foundation that can actually hold it. That's the calm, behind-the-scenes work I do, and it's the difference between growth that feels like a boom and growth that feels like a breakdown.
It's coming. Let's make sure you're ready for it.

Free audit in the comments.

Here's your permission slip: the fact that your systems are breaking is not a personal failing.

It's math.

You built this business doing everything yourself, and for a while that worked great. Then you grew. More clients, more tools, more moving parts, same number of hours in your day and same one brain holding it all together. Of course it's cracking. It was never going to scale on willpower.

The fix isn't "work harder" or "wake up at 5am" or download another app you'll never open. The fix is getting the work out of your head and into systems that run whether you're at your desk or at the beach.

That's what I do. I find it, I fix it, and I build something better, then I hand it back to you documented so you actually own it.

If you've been white-knuckling your operations for a while now, let's change that. Free audit in the comments.

Saw this and haven't stopped thinking about it:

"People don't have the patience to build a business for 3 years. But they have the patience to go to work for someone else for 40."

Oof. Right?

Here's the thing nobody tells you though. The reason year 1 and 2 feel so brutal isn't a lack of patience. It's that you're doing every single job yourself with zero systems, running on caffeine and willpower. Of course it feels impossible. You're trying to scale a company on one human's memory.

The fix isn't "be more patient." It's "stop doing it all by hand." Get the work out of your head, build systems that run without you, and suddenly year 3 doesn't have to break you to reach it.

That's the whole job at The Coastal Collaborative. If you're in the brutal middle right now, let's make it lighter. Free Operations Audit, comment "AUDIT" and I'll send the link.
