Hey everyone!
We're starting Grand Archive locals! We'll be playing every Thursday at 6:30PM. Entry is $10 and this is getting added to the calendar next Thursday!
Grand Archive is an anime trading card game where each player controls a champion, similar to a commander in Magic: the Gathering. The goal of the game is to defeat your opponent's champion. Even MTG Hall of Famer Reid Duke praises the game for its card clarity and precise rules text making it that much easier to pick up the game. We have starter decks and boosters available if you want to dip your toe in!

We are kicking off September with a wide assortment of events, especially for our Magic Players!
THURSDAY - Our Duel Commander Win a Box for The Hobbit is at 6:30PM. Proxies are allowed for Reserved List cards only. Entry is $25. Even if you're not walking away with the box, you will get store credit!
SATURDAY - Our first Standard RCQ of the season is at 11AM! Entry is $40 and decklists are required to participate. Since the tournament starts at 11AM, the store will open and start taking registrations at 10AM! This is our only tournament this season that features the pins and winner lanyard so get your Oko pin while you can!
ONE PIECE - The 3on3 OP-17 Win a Box is this Saturday at 5:30PM and replaces normal locals for the week. The first place team receives a box of the newest set. Entry is $30 per team and only one of you needs to register in the Bandai app! Friendly reminder that you cannot share the same leaders as your teammate!!
SUNDAY - Heart of the Mountain is a free commander tournament to see who can keep control of the Arkenstone the longest! All participants will receive a copy of An Unexpected Party! We will start at 2PM.

Here's what going on at the Den this last full week of August!
TUESDAY - Our Standard Win a Box tournament for The Hobbit is tomorrow at 6:30PM! Entry is $20. First place gets the box! Everyone else gets store credit prizing based on final standings.
SATURDAY - Our World Championship 2026 Celebration event is replacing normal locals at 12PM. Entry is $15 (three World Championship packs). First place will get Japanese promos of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Polymerization. We will be random rolling for another set of those promos! We will be using the current Forbidden and Limited list for this event.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY - We've been waiting and it's finally here! The World's Strongest Warriors is releasing this weekend! If you placed a preorder, you can start picking those up on Friday at 11AM. Otherwise, see for our release events! Entry is $30 per event. Friday's event is at 6:30PM and Saturday's is at 5:30PM! See you there!
SATRUDAY - The Chaos Origins OTS Championship is this Saturday! The store opens at 10AM so we can start promptly at 11AM. Entry is $22.50 (five packs of Chaos Origins). Decklists are required to participate. Top 4 will get an invite to the World Championship Qualifier. First place will get a cool playmat!

Remember, tonight at 6:30PM is our FREE learn to play event! You can bring a starter deck or yourself to learn the game with Dylan, Jesse, and Riley! If you don't have a starter deck, our other players are graciously letting new players borrow a deck for the event. There will even be a small tournament after Dylan's presentation! See you tonight!

We have recovered from prerelease to tell you what's going on at the Den this week!
THURSDAY - We are hosting a Learn to Play event! We have three experienced players who are going to teach you how to play one of the fastest growing TCGs around! Jesse, Dylan, and Riley are going to teach you how to play and they will be around to give deck building advice to those who want some. You can bring a starter deck or you can bring yourself! Our community members have been gracious enough to bring decks for those who might not be able to find one. Then there will be a small tournament for those who want to participate! See you there!
