How broken is too broken?
A while back, I had a customer whose battery connector was broken and ripped off, removing three functional pads and damaging the traces. Most places would consider it too broken to repair and quote a board replacement. This being a newer laptop, a replacement board would cost in the area of $700. I was able to use magnet wire to create new traces from the VIAs and use UV-cure solder mask to adhere everything in place. There were no replacement connectors available at the time, but was able to reuse the broken one. Instead of charging her for a replacement board, she was only charged for one hour of labor - saving $625.

I have 3 brand new analog sticks for Nintendo Switch in stock. Works for Switch and Switch Lite. Having issues with stick drift, unresponsive or stuck analog stick? Contact me instead of replacing the joycons or the entire Switch Lite. I’ll replace the faulty stick for $25 in the New Bern/Vanceboro area. Only color in stock is black. If there’s enough demand, I’ll order more colors. Average turnaround time is about an hour from the time I start disassembly.

Go check out Dad's Workshop, it's a project I've been trying to get up and going. We will be taking in donated gaming consoles, repairing them where needed, and giving them to kids in the community who are normally unable to get them.As an additional incentive, I'll take 50% off labor on any computer repairs for anyone who donates!
