Thunderstorms are expected to move across the area tonight, with isolated to scattered strong to severe storms expected. SPC has included us in a Slight Risk of severe storms across the northern portions of S TX and a Marginal Risk of severe storms across the southern areas and along the Coastal Bend. Please monitor your weather and have multiple ways to receive warnings. The greatest threats will be large hail and damaging winds.

Victoria Electric Cooperative crews worked throughout the night responding to storm-related outages across our service area. We also have several contractor crews assisting, along with mutual aid crews from Jackson Electric Cooperative and Nueces Electric Cooperative.

Crews are working as safely and efficiently as possible to restore power across the service area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as restoration efforts continue.
