This is where the modified power supply is used. Phono 40 kit, 40db of passive RIAA for the ultimate in MM or high output MC cartridges phono enjoyment. Get the Phono 70 for low output MC cartridges. We also have a Phono 30 (no RIAA just 30db of gain) to be used in place of SUT's.

Simple power supply, remove bad sounding parts and replace them with great sounding parts and a fixed value regulation of 18.5vdc. Mundorf electrolytic followed by wet silver tantalum for the output.

This is one of our modified power supplies for the Phono 70, Phono 40, Phono 30 or 1543 DAC. It now uses a LM317HV regulator with fixed resistors to get a fixed voltage value. Notice the Mundorf MLytic power supply capacitor and the hard to see (enclosed in heat shrink next to the back) wet silver tantalum capacitor, no more crappy parts so now it has the best sonics.
We also build custom umbilical's for the power out using Cardas wire or our own paradoxpulse Red. Some of my customers have used these power supplies on other manufactures products and have been shocked at the improvement in sound fidelity.

This is the paradoxpulse 1543 DAC. It only plays redbook/CD's which most do not use any more. This 1543 DAC sounds more like analog than most great analog systems. My brother/engineer has been using this DAC for over 5 years now so I finally made one too.
