SOF Week 2026 was a defining moment for Varada Defense.
For years, we have supported mission needs across the Department of Defense, working around real programs, real constraints, real operators, and real operational environments.
At SOF Week, the conversations were clear:
Distributed missions need more than connectivity, dashboards, rugged compute, or faster data movement.
They need a unified mission environment that can keep capability alive when conditions become contested, degraded, disconnected, and fragmented.
That is what Varada demonstrated.
The ISR feeds were simulated, as required.
The mission environment was not.
Operation NORTHERN WATCH began as a Varada Defense demonstration using Splunk software. As interest grew, we expanded the vignette to incorporate Cisco edge compute, demonstrating the agility of a hardware-flexible architecture designed to move across partner infrastructure.
What we showed was real:
▫️ Mission workflows sustained through a deliberately degraded network
▫️ Self-healing software and disaster recovery demonstrated in real time
▫️ Data correlated at the point of action, not simply moved faster
▫️ Splunk software supporting decision advantage inside the mission environment
▫️ Cisco edge compute incorporated into the operational storyline
▫️ A hardware-flexible architecture that works across existing and partner infrastructure
This was not a lab concept.
This was seasoned capability meeting the market at exactly the right time.
The SOF Solutions Stage was full because the need is no longer abstract.
Operators, partners, and allied mission leaders are looking for capability that can move across systems, networks, domains, and mission conditions without breaking the mission.
That is the space Varada Defense was built for.
We came home with momentum, mission alignment, and a clear signal:
The future of distributed operations belongs to the teams that can sustain the mission when the environment does not cooperate.
If you are working on distributed operations, mission continuity, interoperability across systems, or decision advantage in contested and disconnected environments, we would welcome the conversation.

Thank you to Splunk, Cisco, and everyone who spent time with us at SOF Week.
