A retirement reception was held Friday at the Vinita Fire Station celebrating the careers of firefighters Deputy Chief Rusty Hanes (left) and Capt. Kevin Grimes. Hanes is retiring with 25 years of full-time service plus five years as a volunteer. Grimes is retiring with 20 years of full-time service.
