Cable Technician- All Levels
Compensation: Based on Experience
Benefits Offered: Medical, Dental, Vision
Employment Type: Full-Time
CableTechnician will:
Work in commercial or outside plant environments
Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and drive a vehicle.
Install cabling for access control devices
install cat5, cat6, and fiber optics
Working on lift running cabling in ceilings
Punch down and terminate (not required experience but will learn)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in telecommunications, electrical, or other related fields
Familiarity with low voltage/wiring equipment
Need basic tools - side cutters, screwdriver set, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses
Strong attention to detail and Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work in the United States
(If the skillset is more junior or greener but is professional, has a great personality, and is eager to learn training is available)
Additional requirements:
Valid Driver's License with Reliable transportation
Ability to pass Criminal Background Checks
Ability to walk distances up to a half mile
Ability to work while standing on concrete surface continuously 8-10 hours – Frequently
Ability to work while bending, squatting, and kneeling - Frequently
Ability to work while extending your arms/hands overhead - Frequently
Ability to sit in an automobile, train, or airplane for an extended period of time – Frequently
