Just got word from Commercial State that their online banking URL has changed, This means that your saved credentials will not autofill for the website when you go to login.

When you go to commercialstatebank.com and click Online Banking Login, it will send you to ufsdata.com and not secureinternetbank.com like before. This is legit. I've had a few customers have me help them get their credentials since they weren't autofilling.

Here is an updated analysis of Starlink over the last 30 or so days. There were a couple power outages during this test so there is a period where I didn't notice that the machine running these tests was offline and didn't recover after power was restored to the UPS it was connected to.

Superb data this go around. Starlink has been performing flawlessly. The high ping times were during periods of download/uploading massive amounts of data. It hasn't faltered yet.

This year I'm celebrating a whopping 10 years in business! It's pretty exciting, and I've been hard at work revamping my website! So take a look around the new website, register an account, and come back tomorrow when I'll start populating the storefront! Finally, you'll be able to place orders on the website and pick up items in store! I have no intention of enabling shipping through the website—these will be for local pickups only. But for those who have been wanting things that move pretty quickly, like gaming controllers or headphones, you'll be able to reserve them through the website and know when things are in stock.

This is quite a milestone: 10 years. I've gone around town and put up a few fliers to commemorate the theme change of the website, moving from a basic WordPress website that was just essentially a landing page pointing you to my contact information and storefront location to this new website redesign that really speaks to my inner nerd.

Thank you to everyone who has been a customer over the years. You've helped me learn a LOT. I love my job mainly because every day I run into some problem that needs to be solved in a way that is new to me.

And with the promise of Ft. Randall finally getting fiber in town soon, the horizon is looking bright. I'll finally be able to offer some really cool services that I've been dreaming of even before I opened this business 10 years ago.

I want to thank my lovely wife, Samantha Pettit, for supporting me over the years. Thank you to my mom, Ruth Bouza, and my dad, Justin Bouza (he has no social media haha), for the constant, unending support. You two were the ones who initially told me to open this business and pushed me to do it 10 years ago. It was the best decision ever!

Thank you to my mother-in-law, Lori Tonak, for helping spread the word about my business and expanding my customer base further than I ever thought possible. Thank you for driving down every week to watch the kids so my wife can watch the shop and allow me to do service calls during the day.

Thank you to the community for the never-ending projects and ideas that feed my drive to keep doing what I'm doing.

For those who don't know, my mom started Custom Touch & Limo in 2012. Initially, I worked for her as a vehicle detailer, cleaning vehicles, boats, tractors, and semis, and as a graphic designer making vinyl graphics with our Roland vinyl cutter. I had never touched graphic design before then, but I learned it. Slowly, she grew the business to offer tinting services, automotive sound installation, and limousine service.
During that time, I also did computer services on the side, but never had a business page or an officially licensed business yet.

In 2016, I had completed 3 years at DSU and my first year at MTI. Now, I've never been a school/books type of person. Just ask any of my old teachers at WCS - Wagner Red Raider Nation. I passed high school with C's and D's because I spent the whole time in class programming various projects. Ask anyone, and they'd say I always knew I wanted to do something—anything—with computers. One teacher in particular I need to give a shout-out to: SueAnn Morrell, my composition teacher. I love reading, but my passion for computers dwarfed even my love of reading. My senior year at high school was very rough, but I'll never forget my final project for your class. Our assignment was to make a large presentation on a subject of our choice. I have a strong passion for early Norwegian Black Metal, so I chose that as a topic and I put all of my effort into it. For this project, we used a website called WikiSpaces (long defunct for reasons I'll explain soon), and when we first started using this website early in the semester, I immediately picked up on a severe vulnerability. WikiSpaces was a platform largely used by schools to allow students to make their own blog pages. It had a basic page editor allowing you to add text, images, and a title for your blog, page, or assignment. But what they also had was a script injection section, allowing you to inject your own JavaScript into the web page—wholly unrestricted. Now that was something I could work with. I stopped all my other projects to work on this. The vision was clear: I was going to completely blow every other student's presentation out of the water.
With this script injection, I was able to completely bypass all of their limited tools. I began developing a website for my project completely from scratch. My website had animations, videos, GIFs, and sound to accompany the different sections and bands I was talking about, live translation from Norwegian to English for the lyrics, buttons, hidden elements, and so much more.
This was my ride-or-die project, because if I didn't pass this class, I wasn't going to be graduating. Sue was so impressed with my presentation in front of the class that she had me stay after school that day and repeat the presentation in front of a large number of the high school faculty. I must have made an impression, because I graduated. High school was rough. I had no social skills; it was a miracle I had the small friend group that I did.

Thank you, Sue, for being the stepping stone to gaining confidence in myself.

Fast-forward to college: the same story happened again. Because I did so poorly in high school, I spent the first 2 years and part of the 3rd year at DSU doing classes that I was supposed to have done in high school. I needed the prerequisites in order to take any of the actual computer classes. Well, my old habits reared their heads again, and I was failing miserably—worse than high school. I spent my time in class researching things that I cared about: exploits going on in the wild, new open-source software, and projects in the works by my favorite creators. Learning in my own way, self-taught.
College was going poorly, so I moved on to MTI to try out a technical college. I was getting right into what I wanted to do right away, but I chose a major that I came to discover wasn't about software development at all. It was focused on Cisco networking.
So my parents came to me one day and told me it was time to open a business. I thought they were crazy, but they saw something in me that I didn't see in myself: drive.
I started off still working out of the same building where I had been working for my mom. Growing slowly at first, and then it quickly snowballed. This was it. I found my calling: a computer business where I can do and learn freely in whatever direction I wanted to immediately.
I've grown to now offer:
• 3D Laser Scanning
• 3D Printing
• Custom Computer Builds
• Virus Removal
• Data Migration
• Data Backup
• Photography
• Cinematography
• Photogrammetry
• Security Camera Systems
• Virtual Reality
• Podcasting Services
• Console Cleaning
• Server Management
• Graphic Design
• Web Design
• Networking
And if these last 10 years are anything to go by, this list is going to keep growing.
So a huge thank you to everyone. I'm happy to be in our little town of Wagner. And again, thank you to my wife and our two kids. I've won at life. I've completed every goal I set out to accomplish. Though new goals spawn weekly, I know that you'll be by my side to help me out and support me when I need it. I love you guys.
