We've provided classes to the general public in the past...we'll hold them again with enough interest...We provide information on situational awareness, mace, pepper spray and other self defense product use, as well as general safety tips. BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS: This message was sent by one of our fans of an incident that happened last night at the Target parking lot in Kahului.

"Ladies, please be safe while out and about when your alone. Last night around 10ish my aunty witnessed a lady being dragged to a SUV by a man as she screamed for someone to help her at our Target Store in Kahului. My aunty made her presents known and the attacker took off stealing the victims purse. The victim claims her attacker hit her in the head at least 10 times with a hard object before dragging her bleeding body towards his vehicle. If anyone has any information please contact MPD immediately. The whole scene scared my aunty and she wasn't able to get much detail about the attacker. She does know it was a older dark in color Jeep SUV, he was about 5'5ish and light skinned. Not much to go on but always be aware of your surroundings! PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD!"

****Note from Maui 24/7: This is NOT a hoax. We actually heard this last night at 10:18 p.m. as it was happening. MFD and Medics were assisting the female and MPD was out searching for the vehicle. The older female was taken to the hospital.
