If someone ever snatched your phone and knew your passcode, they used to be able to lock you out of your Apple ID in seconds. Apple fixed that with a setting called Stolen Device Protection!

How to turn it on:

1 Open Settings > Face ID & Passcode.
2 Turn Stolen Device Protection to ON.

Now, if your phone is away from home or work, changing critical account settings requires Face ID/Touch ID and a 1-hour delay. Simple, free, and gives you total peace of mind.

They take quick snapshots of passing cars to log plates. While they’re built for public safety, a lot of folks are talking about how much location data gets saved.

Quick Phone Doctor Tip: You can’t turn off street cameras, but you can keep your phone from sharing your exact location with every app on your home screen!

Head into your Settings > Location, and make sure apps like social media or shopping are set to "While Using" (or turn off "Precise Location"). Your pizza app only needs your general neighborhood until you order! 🍕
