As a very small specialized entrepreneur, I am saddened by this article. I distinctly remember my Father opening up his wrapped paper bag with his laundered shirts inside. The smell was glorious. It was like having a brand new shirt every time. It is unfortunate that this is one of many things I cannot pass on.

Robert Lee recalls success and racism. He starched the city's shirts through it all — but was forced to shut down because of Covid-19.

A note from Stereo Stereo founder Michael Klein in honor of our 4th anniversary: We at Stereo Stereo are very excited to celebrate 4 years of bringing our community the best in curated home stereo systems. What started as a vision to help people rediscover the experience of enjoying music in a comfortable and beautiful showroom has been accomplished and we have much more in store for the future!

The showroom has been significantly upgraded, both aesthetically and acoustically, over the past 3 years. We have opened The Record Room. And if I can ever figure out how to use it, we have a new espresso machine. Our product lines have evolved over the past few years and we now represent the strongest selection of audio products in our short history. With the addition of Wattson Audio, Atoll, Moonriver, SME, Shelter, Silent Angel, and Devialet, it is easier than ever to assemble an affordable and beautiful sounding music system.

We have added Vinnie Rossi to showcase in our luxurious reference room. And with new products from Shunyata Research, WADAX, and Silent Angel, the sound in this room will be absolutely incredible.

None of this would be possible without the enormous support of the community. And for that I thank you. Our success has been possible with the unbelievable support of my manufacturers, particularly Bill Peugh from Wilson Audio, Dave Gordon from Audio Research, Richard and Grant from Shunyata Research, Brandon Lauer from WADAX, and John Turchinetz from KEF.
