Today, Bear with me was featured on the platform People of Print — and for me, it marks an important point in a long trajectory of an idea.
Three years ago, there was only an image. A giant bear — a symbol of strength, vulnerability, and resilience. I didn’t know how it would be realized technically. I only knew one thing: it had to exist.
It was essential for me to create it as a collaborative project — not as an individual gesture, but as the result of creative synergy. The first attempt didn’t work out. But designer Yuliya Ratnikova saw the potential in the project — and that’s when the real work began.
We were working across countries and time zones. Calls, discussions, structural problem-solving, endless poster layouts shared through photos and video. It was more than a production process — it was an experiment at the intersection of idea and material.
Gradually, Bear with me took shape. The project was realized in Russia and later presented in Germany. It became more than an art object; it marked a turning point. This is how Formula Studio emerged — along with a distinct visual system and a new professional trajectory.
Some projects demand time. Some demand courage.
And sometimes, a project becomes a system that starts shaping you.
Bear with me is exactly that kind of project.
