So I'm going to bitch a little here. But I want people to understand I am trying to say this in the nicest way I know how. I have been refurbishing computers for years (31 years) and I always try to keep my prices fair. Sometimes I get the greatest deals on buys and I can let them go for cheaper than usual but I DO have to eat and make my money too. So I post stuff on Marketplace and say I have stuff for sale starting at $80. This is what is upsetting and I ask people for a little more respect instead of being an as***le. Usually people will ask what do I have and what are the prices. When this happens the easiest thing is to reply and explain that it's easier to make an appointment and come in to see what I have and we will work something out. Now IF I say I have a system for $80 and someone asks what they get for that. Then I explain that that is a very bottom end computer that will go online and browse, type up papers and get you by if you are looking for the basic. Now if I say this, I do NOT appreciate replys like "that's a s**t deal!" I don't know what you're thinking you're gonna get for $80, but I promise it's gonna be basic. THEN I have people message me and tell me that WANT at LEAST an i5 gaming system with 16gb Ram, and an ssd drive with extra storage space and a power supply that can handle that all for $100 to $150. I can tell you the reply will definitely be there's no way. DONT get pi**ed because you're looking for a pot of gold... If you find it, great, but understand a BASIC gamer that can play minimal games (like 80% on low settings) will START around $350. So I did a quick build with CHEAP USED parts to give people an idea of what it cost. Please don't insult me and tell me I'm a ripoff when I tell you $100 won't do it. Here is a breakdown WITHOUT the windows license which is another $50-$100.
