A quick update:

We made good progress last week! We still have several completed computers waiting to be picked up. If we've contacted you, please stop by this week between 9am–2pm to get yours.

If you left a computer with us and have not heard from us, please call us this week. We have a few computers we have not been able to identify.

For now, we are still not accepting new repairs while we work to determine whether we can get fully staffed to continue providing the quality of service you have come to expect from Byte Me.

You are amazing people and we appreciate your continued love, support, and understanding.

Byte Me Computers is open 9am–2pm this week as we continue working through the computers currently in our care.

For now, we are not taking in new repair work. Our computer tech is currently available part-time, and our priority is moving through everything we already have in-house as quickly as possible.

We will contact you when your computer is ready or when we need additional information from you.

Thank you so much for your continued patience, understanding, and support. We truly appreciate it.

Customer Update

For those of you who have computers or other equipment currently in our shop, we want to reassure you that your work is important to us and has not been forgotten.

This week we are beginning a careful review of each repair and custom computer order to determine its current status, what work has been completed, what remains to be done, and the best path forward for each customer.

This process will take a little time, and we appreciate your patience as we work through it. We will contact you as soon as we have reviewed your repair and can provide an update.

Thank you for the overwhelming kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Your compassion has meant more than words can express.

It is with profound sadness that we announce Byte Me Computers will be temporarily closed until further notice due to the loss of the man who made it all work.

We’re grateful to be named Best of Haywood again this year! What makes this special is that it comes from the people here—folks we’ve worked with for years, and many we’ve just met more recently.

We started Byte Me 15 years ago in a small one-room shop with a divider and a floor that probably needed more help than the computers. A lot has changed since then—including where you’ll find us now—but the work hasn’t.

We’re still the same people doing honest repairs, building solid machines, and helping folks figure things out without making it complicated.

To everyone who has trusted us over the years—whether it was back in the early days or just last week—thank you. We don’t take that lightly.
