With property tax bills hitting West Bend mailboxes this week, we want to make you aware of a recent US Postal Service policy change.

This year, postmarks are being applied at regional sorting centers rather than when mail is first received. This may result in a postmark several days after an envelope is placed in a mailbox.

Because timely payment is based on the USPS postmark, payments mailed too close to the Jan. 31, 2026, deadline may be considered late.

Residents are encouraged to mail payments early or use online or in-person payment options to avoid late fees.

Have you been at The Hub - Social Good Brews when the walls are full of art, sparking conversation, inspiration, and collaboration? Those art-filled walls are our favorite!

We're so grateful to the West Bend Leadership Class of 2026 for helping us develop a sustainable program that will give local artists a rotating space to showcase their work and share their talent with the community.

Drop in at The Hub on November 16 between 12:00 pm-2:00 pm for an event led by the leadership class behind this project! They'll be sharing more about The Art of Us initiative—what it's all about, how you can get involved, and answering any questions you might have.

Stacy, our office manager, will be attending the West Bend Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership West Bend Class of 2026! She is looking forward to interacting with the community!
