Our kindergarten skills were in full force at Global Tech Services this week as we had a blast assembling and coloring literacy kits from the United Way of Des Moines for young children. As part of our global giving project #14 we purchased and built 30 kits leaving notes of encouragement in supporting the development of literacy and reading for our youth.

Global had our annual chili cook off yesterday!! We had five different kinds and Lynn was the winner of our traveling trophy 🌶. Congrats Lynn!

We dropped off our supply drive donations last week to Hawthorn Hill - New Directions Shelter for our Q3 . They are such a great organization for our community and provide approximately 105-130 homeless families with children, shelter and services every year. For Q2 Global Giving we were able to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Des Moines to collect pop tabs. These pop tabs are recycled and used to help generate funds to offset the house's expenses such as water and electricity bills.

This is just the beginning of our collection as we have decided to continue through the end of the year! We can't wait to continue with such a great organization. --https://lnkd.in/d6-mikY
