💡 Use a password manager. It is one of the simplest ways to improve both your security and your productivity. Strong, unique passwords for every account, and no more hunting for login details every time you open an app or visit a website.

Most Windows devices in greater Boston are affected by a security deadline most business owners have never heard of.

Microsoft's Secure Boot certificate expiration hits on June 26, 2026. Devices that have not received the May 2026 update may lose the ability to boot securely, leaving a gap that attackers can exploit.

The fix is simple and takes less than five minutes.

Open Settings, go to Windows Update, and confirm KB5089549 is installed. Then do a full Restart, not just Shut Down. That is all it takes.

If Ekaru manages your IT, your devices will already be tracked and covered.

17 days is enough time to get this right, so act now and stay protected.

Happy World Environment Day from the Ekaru team! 🌍🌿

We took a moment today to step outside, breathe in some fresh air, and appreciate the world around us. Days like this are a good reminder of why it matters to take care of the environment we all share.

For us, that commitment extends beyond the office.

One of our favorite ways to give back to the greater Boston community is through our quarterly electronics recycling events. Old computers, monitors, hard drives, and devices contain harmful chemicals that don't belong in a landfill. Our recycling events make it easy for local businesses and residents to dispose of old technology safely and responsibly.
