GivingTuesday is only six weeks away!

If your year-end campaign includes a video - we still have time to make it happen but you need to act now.

Not because it will take 6 weeks to film but we need time to identify a compelling story, discuss current needs and develop a strong ask for donors.

If you lead fundraising or marketing at a nonprofit, let’s connect this week to develop a plan.

Most nonprofits have a beautiful brand video that has never raised any money.

Beautiful drone shots, swelling music, a montage of smiling faces and a logo at the end.

It makes the board proud but it doesn't make a donor act.

At GLBAL media we help nonprofits turn beautiful footage into compelling narratives:

❓ A brand video answers "Who are you?"

💲 A fundraising video answers "Why should I give, and why now?"

Using our Story-First strategy we create fundraising videos that walk a viewer through four things:

• Where you came from (why you exist)

• What you do (your programs, shown, not only narrated)

• What changed (real stories and transformation)

• What's needed next (one specific ask)

Most brand videos stop after step two. Before year-end, watch your nonprofit videos and ask: does it end with a need, or just a nice logo?

Ever feel like you’re spinning round and round? Well…what if that was a good thing, and just what the artist ordered?! It’s our pleasure to support Shannon Myers of Earth and Dew Pottery and their mission of arts access for Westminster. Starting at their home studio, but with an eye towards Main Street, we can’t wait to see where their creative vision spins next! In the meantime, we’re fans—check out Shannon’s work at https://sites.google.com/view/earthanddewpottery/home

At the end of the year we’ll be leaving Main Street but don’t worry we are very much still in business. 47 E Main has been an incredible location, building and renting from Greg has been great! We can’t wait to see who moves in next. As we’ve continued to grow our video production company we are now pursuing a larger studio space to better accommodate bigger filming projects and better serve our nonprofit clients.

According to a Facebook post by realtor Greg Brock, this space at 47 E. Main Street in Westminster will be available January 1, 2027, so the question is… What Should Go Here Next?

This fall we were producing fundraising content for 6 music tours, 5 speakers and 3 different nonprofits. Come with us on a behind the scenes look at what leads to the decisions we make during an edit. Featuring footage from trips to Mozambique and Ethiopia with World Vision and ChildFund we explain how we filmed certain scenes and our approach to storytelling.

Some like it cold. Some like it hot. Whatever your preference, our friends at Husky Hut Coffee Co have already been making quite the name for themselves around town with their tasty beverages and baked goods! We're stoked for the jolt of energy and sweet commitment they bring to our community. You'll enjoy learning more of their story, here, and how they plan to continue to build and give back in Westminster. Join us in saying "welcome back from the west coast!"- and swing by the Hut soon. You don't want to miss it! 🎥: GLBAL media
