A big thank you to Arbor West Neighbors (www.arborwestneighbors.org) for inviting me to speak at their Assistive Technologies for Older Adults event at the Oak Park Public Library — and a special thank you to Gil Herman for the kind invitation and for hosting such a thoughtful, engaging event.

I had a great time discussing wearable technology and how devices like the Apple Watch and AirPods can help older adults stay connected, safe, and independent. From health monitoring and fall detection to hands-free communication and accessibility, these tools are making a real difference in the lives of seniors.

It was an honor to be part of the conversation. Looking forward to more opportunities to support older adults in navigating today’s technology with confidence!

📱✨ A Big Thank You to Winfield Public Library! ✨📱

We had a fantastic time at the Winfield Public Library presenting Unlocking the Secrets of Your Smartphone! With about 20 attendees, the room was filled with great questions, engaging conversations, and lots of “aha!” moments.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to help more people feel confident using their devices. A huge thank you to the library staff for hosting us and to everyone who joined—we loved sharing this time with you!

🚨 Well, this was unexpected! 🚨

A friend handed us a magazine and said, “Thought you’d find this interesting—it’s about technology and older adults.” So we started flipping through, and guess what? Senior Tech Support was in it!

Nobody had any idea. Total plot twist.

That’s right—we’ve gone magazine famous without even realizing it. No paparazzi yet, but we’re keeping our phones on silent just in case.

Seriously though, it’s an honor to be featured in the CSA Journal, published by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors as a trusted resource for helping older adults with technology. Seeing our mission recognized like this is a great reminder of why we do what we do.

If you ever spot Senior Tech Support out in the wild, let us know! It’s always fun to see where we show up.
