Today the NetApp Cafe in Wichita did a Hot Wings eating challenge for those employees brave enough to try to conquer chef’s custom hot wings sauce. First person to down all 12 wings took home the Gold. Steve Burwell rose to the challenge. Congrats Steve!

Rumor has it chef marinated the wings in the sauce overnight before frying them and added a dusting of XXhot Cheetos dust to the top of the plated wings. Ouch!!

The Wichita Green Team / NetApp volunteers did a park clean up event at Fairmount park this morning across from WSU campus.

We filled up 10 large sacks of trash, so not bad!

Two weeks ago the chef at the NetApp Wichita cafe (which is open to the public) threw down a challenge to the employees. Attempt to eat 12 wings of his own spicy concoction to win a prize and, more importantly, fame. Zach Thimmesch walked away with the first place prize and won by a long shot. So much fun! Congrats Zach!
