The Rotary Club of Wichita is kicking off a new series for Rise ‘n Rotary, and boy is it ever relevant. John McElligott spoke at the morning breakfast series earlier today about AI and emerging technologies.

It’s getting to the point where it’s hard to avoid AI in our everyday lives, especially when we’re online. But are we really paying attention to it as its integration into society reaches critical mass?

Tyler was at the meeting to hear McElligott speak to the issues surrounding AI, and how all of us need to make sure we get involved in the direction it takes to make sure it serves the common good, instead of just paying attention when it creates a crisis.
