These photos show a handyman named Jim Schneider (landline 570-322-6586) doing some work at my house in Loyalsock Twp. (https://facebook.com/james.schneider.589)

For the last 35 years he has worked as a maintenance man at Shop Vac, and thus has gained experience fixing anything and everything . . . from repairing big cranes down to fabricating parts to repair assembly-line equipment.

He is a true "workaholic", and also a man of outstanding integrity -- whom I can wholly recommend. He is the type that would work a full shift at Shop Vac, then be looking for something else to work on in the early evening.

I call him the "miracle man" -- because it seems that he can fix almost anything, and usually at a very reasonable price.

He can install electrical wiring and appliances, do rough carpentry, fix lawn mowers, do lawn work & trim shrubbery, painting, exterior house cleaning, install fencing, install shelving . . . . just about anything you can think of.

He was recently laid off due to cutbacks at Shop-Vac, and thus at the moment, has more time in his schedule. He lives over in So. Williamsport, about midway between the Maynard and the Arch street bridges.

Jim Schneider has also done work for my neighbors, whom some of you might know: Santha Haas (nee Santha Keefer Loyalsock 1969), and Sue Rost across the street from me.

REGISTRARS: MOVING TO NAMECHEAP w/FREE PRIVATE REGISTRATION: Until recently, I had domains registered at 1and1.com, Domain-Nameit.net (part of Godaddy we believe), Godaddy.com, and Network Solutions.
I recently moved them all to Namecheap, to get them all consolidated in one place.

WHY NAMECHEAP:
There are numerous registrars, some cheaper than Namecheap. However, Namecheap seems to be a highly-rated registrar. And they have 2 advantages:
1) They offer FREE private registration.
2) You can change your administrative contact information for ALL your domains at once. (Not all registrars have this feature. With Godaddy, I had to change the contact info for each domain.)

CAUTION WITH ".us" DOMAINS:
*I recently learned this the hard way: With ".us" domains, private registration is NOT allowed.
* Consequently, I'm in the process of trying to get rid of my ".us" domains, so I can use private registration for ALL of my domains.
