If you are working from home and using a personal device such as a smartphone or personal laptop to log in to company-owned cloud applications – stop! Unless your personal device is covered under one of our managed security plans, you could accidentally introduce a virus or hacker to the company’s network. Only devices with our advanced cyber security tools installed and under our vigilant watch for patching, updating, and monitoring should be used to access your company’s data. Remember, data in the cloud is just as vulnerable as data at your office. In fact, 59% of ransomware incidents where the data is successfully encrypted involve data in the public cloud. The cloud is where the attacker stole the data and where they store it awaiting ransom payments. We are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant for our growing IT consulting firm. Pay starts at $20 per hour. Some QuickBooks or similar experience and basic competency with computers are required.
The workload will vary from bookkeeping, scheduling, phone triage to vendor support.
Hours are very flexible. Work will start in our office in Willow Springs but after a training period can transition into almost entirely remote.

Bug found in wifi encryption. Make sure your devices are updated. Hyper IT's preferred wireless access point vendor, Unifi, has already release a patch and we had a late night patching session last night for all of our customers. People need to make sure that there devices and access points are updated. Be careful using wifi at unknown locations (free hotspots).

This is scary. I have personally used and recommended this program to my clients. CCleaner has been a reputable program for a long time. Quite the sneaky move for hackers to comprise the legitimate install file of this program. Piriform states that they were able to mitigate the attack but if you have installed CCleaner within the last month I would take a close look at your computer.
