Think of Initial Access Brokers as those sellers in RPG games who have maps to hidden locations that the main character can buy, so he doesn’t have to explore everything manually.

IABs do the hard part of finding unknown/hidden vulnerabilities, stealing credentials, and breaking into networks, and selling this access to other attackers.

It has turned into a big business ecosystem in the cybercrime world where different cybercriminals specialize in different jobs.
