Caps off to our incredible OIT graduates! After semesters of hard work they have officially reached the finish line. We couldn't be prouder of their dedication and are excited to see all the amazing things they will achieve next. Join us in celebrating their journey.

🎙️ Effy is graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts Collaborative Audio Arts (aka BA.CAA)! After graduation she will be working freelance in audio engineering out of Salisbury, Maryland, working as an employee for a local National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate.
You will find her running live sound (front of house) at concert venues or in the credits for music releases as an engineer, producer, mixer, or mastering engineer, or you could hear her voice over the radio!

🚲 Yohan is graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts InVirtual Reality Design! After graduation he plans to help the IT Help Desk grow into newer fields and work with more than traditional technology. he also wants to have a closer partnership with the and help set up VR headsets and support all Immersive technology and new technology.

All SU locations will open at 9 a.m. today, March 3. Classes scheduled to begin before that time will be held virtually. Child Care Center opens at 8 a.m. Supervisors/faculty should provide flexibility for those who may have difficulty getting to work/class. ❄️

We’re pleased to announce that macOS Tahoe is now approved for use at Shenandoah University! To upgrade, go to Software Update in System Preferences or System Settings > General.

Note: If you are a student and use any specialized software as part of your program, please check with your instructors before upgrading to see if there are any compatibility issues you may run into.

Some of the new features:

Liquid Glass UI: A stunning, translucent system-wide redesign that brings visual consistency across macOS, iOS, and visionOS.
Enhanced Continuity: Seamlessly beam your iPhone’s camera feed to your Mac for the new "Magnifier" accessibility tool or to improve video call quality.
Intelligent Reminders: Reminders now integrates with your emails and notes to automatically suggest action items and deadlines.

As always, it’s good to have a backup of your files before you upgrade. The IT Help Desk portal has more information on backing up your Mac and performing the upgrade:
