Be alert for a phishing email that many customers have reported receiving. The email indicates it is from the Hbc_Service_Support_Team and asks you to upgrade your email account to prevent it from being deleted. If you have received this email, do not respond but delete it immediately. It is NOT from HBC and is an attempt to obtain sensitive information.

We have taken steps to block this email from reaching any more customers, but some may have received it before these protections were implemented.

Many of our customers have reported receiving email messages regarding their HBC email account. These emails are phishing attempts and are not from HBC. The caller suggests turning off their television promising that they will receive additional channels, but would need to send money as a security deposit. This is a scam. These callers do not represent HBC. If you receive this call, please hang up.
